Keeping rabbits safe from predators

Hay! Domesticated bunnies are always safer indoors. There are a lot of risks when keeping a bunny outside. Harsh weather, insects, predatory animals, diseases etc. If you are going to let your bunny play outside, then they must be supervised. Rabbits are prey animals, so housing them outside isn't a very sensible option. A large dog exercise pen, is a great set up for a bun. You can even free-roam them indoors, if the area is properly bunny-proofed.

If it’s a wild rabbit leave it outside. That’s what it knows and wants. A rabbit from a pet store is a different story. Indoors and if you keep it outside make sure it’s in a secure enclosure where it will be safe.
